Wisconsin man gets life in prison for killing roommate in South St. Paul

A Wisconsin man will be behind bars for life after he shot and killed his roommate in St. Paul last year.

Dakota County Attorney Kathy Keena announced Tuesday that 37-year-old Jacob Audie was sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole for the death of 72-year-old Michael Schille.

On Aug. 19, Audie was found guilty of one count of premeditated first-degree murder and one count of intentional second-degree murder.
