A man charged in the killing of a 16-year-old boy this spring outside the North High School football stadium in Minneapolis is also linked to a separate murder case, court documents show.
Markez Patton, 19, faces one count each of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Cordero Montgomery on May 21. One other victim, a 44-year-old man, survived after being shot in the leg.
