The Class AAA high school state golf championships were held at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids on Wednesday afternoon. KSTP Sports was there to capture the action.

On the boys individual side, the state title came down to the wire.
Elk River’s William Roiland shot par on his 17th hole and had a bogey on his 18th hole that set him up in a tie with Spring Lake Park’s Chase Birdwell. On the 18th hole, Birdwell had a par putt in order to remain tied with Roiland. However, the putt missed to the right. That meant that Roiland won the individual state championship.
On the boys team side, Brainerd was the only team to finish under par and won by a 12-stroke margin.
