The Gophers basketball team will start summer workouts on Monday. We caught up a few weeks ago with new guard Winters Grady, a transfer from the University of Michigan.

Grady played in just nine games last season for the Wolverines before a foot injury sidelined him. He averaged three points per game in limited minutes. He was a top-100 recruit coming out of high school after playing for Prolific Prep in California and Lake Oswego in Oregon.
A 6-foot-6 inch guard, Grady will have four years of eligibility remaining. He cited a close relationship with assistant coach Aaron Katsuma as a big reason why he chose to play for Minnesota.
