Just a few weeks after being sent down to the St. Paul Saints, the Minnesota Twins have recalled infielder Royce Lewis back to the team. Lewis was optioned to St Paul on May 19th, but has surged in AAA baseball, hitting.340 with eight home runs from May 21st to June 5th.
To make room for Lewis, the Twins have designated James Outman for release or assignment. Outman played 49 games for the Twins hitting .156.
