Tim Curry's cause of death revealed

LOS ANGELES — Actor Tim Curry, best known for his roles in the cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," died of coronary artery disease, reports said Wednesday. 

PEOPLE obtained Los Angeles County Department of Public Health documents, which said Curry also had a history of stroke and kidney cancer. The document said these conditions contributed to his death, but were not the cause.
