Happy Wednesday evening to one and all.

It’s been an active 24 hours across Minnesota. Early morning thunderstorms rolled through the region before sunrise, dropping over an inch of rainfall in many locations and providing some much-needed moisture. While we’re still keeping an eye on a few isolated storms this evening, the severe weather threat has diminished significantly, and the Forecast First Alert has been canceled.

A few showers or thunderstorms may linger through the evening, but many communities will remain dry overnight. Temperatures stay mild with lows in the middle 60s.
