WASHINGTON — Stacey King, a three-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls who later became a beloved broadcaster, has died at the age of 59. 

The franchise confirmed the news Sunday in a post on social media, mourning the loss of a "cherished member of the Bulls family." 

King was selected by the Chicago Bulls in the 1989 NBA draft as the sixth pick.
