MINNEAPOLIS — St. Paul Pride Festival is back for its fourth year and second year at Dual Citizen Brewing Company in St. Paul.
Kyle Rucker is one of the event’s organizers and said this started as a way to provide a space for more queer artists to perform and business owners to sell their products.
“We need more pride in Saint Paul not just the festival itself but everyone that’s here, what can we do as individuals to create these kind of places, spaces for people to feel safe, families to come out, people to be different but together are vanishing and it’s been getting tougher and tougher to make space in real life,” Rucker said.
