A cooler, drier stretch is moving in with a mostly dry weekend ahead after a small chance of showers Friday night.
The Twin Cities are expected to remain dry for the weekend after scattered showers clear out around midnight, with temperatures reaching 74 on Saturday and 72 on Sunday.
A cold front is expected to clear out much of the moisture and bring cooler temperatures with a mostly northwest wind through much of the weekend.
It could be a little breezy but mostly dry, with the Twin Cities likely seeing their only rain chance Friday night, before showers clear after around midnight.
Saturday morning will start in the 50s to the north and low 70s to the south before warming through the day.
The weekend forecast calls for highs in the low to mid-70s both Saturday and Sunday, with a few showers possibly lingering far north into Sunday and the next better chance for rain arriving Wednesday.
