Showers continue Today with a weekend cooldown ahead

Showers are moving through parts of the Twin Cities as a cooler, less humid stretch starts to move in.

Rain chances will linger today across parts of the Twin Cities and much of southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Cloudy skies will keep highs around 70 degrees, with winds out of the southwest near 5 to 10 mph. Rain will move through before skies begin to clear after about 10 p.m. Overnight lows will fall into the 50s.

Friday will bring warmer temperatures, with highs rising through the 70s to near 80 degrees.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: By Saturday morning, temperatures will start in the 50s to near 60 degrees before climbing into the mid-70s in the afternoon. The weekend will stay cooler and dry with only a slight chance of showers.
