Bradley Carlisle is the first professional Santa Claus in the U.S. with Down syndrome.
ATLANTA — It's not yet Labor Day, but Christmas has already arrived for one Santa Claus in Georgia.
Bradley Carlisle became the first professional Santa Claus in the United States with Down syndrome, and he was just inducted into the International Santa Hall of Fame after training at Atlanta's Northern Lights Santa School.
"I love to wear my suit and a beard and the glasses," Carlisle said. "It's my dream to be in a Santa school, because I like to help with the kids."
Rick Rosenthal, founder of Northern Lights Santa School, said Carlisle's Down syndrome gives him an edge other Santas simply don't have.
