A River Falls man is dead after a fiery crash on State Road 29 in western Wisconsin, according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say that Jesse Hageman, 43, was heading west in a 2022 Dodge Durango when his car went off the road and struck a tree in Oak Grove Township at around 9:45 p.m. on May 31.
Once first responders were able to put out the fire, they found Hageman inside the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s still unclear what led up to the crash. No one else was in the car.
