Power outages across the state are affecting building operations in Ramsey County following a bout of severe weather.
Ramsey County said services have been impacted, requiring multiple buildings to remain closed on Wednesday and advised residents who were hoping to use these facilities to find another place.
The buildings include the Plato Building, which houses multiple county offices, including Public Health, Emergency Management and Veterans Services. Other closings include the Ramsey County Library in Shoreview, the Tamarack Nature Center and the Charles M. Schulz Highland and Shoreview arenas.
Any downed trees on county property from last night’s storms should be reported to 651-266-7100.
Those without access to a cool location can find a public cooling site that is open during regular business hours.
