Police say no criminal charges will be filed after a delivery driver shot and killed a man who they say physically assaulted and threatened him with a weapon.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — There will be no charges for a delivery driver following a deadly shooting that happened on Tuesday afternoon in Chesapeake, Virginia.

According to the Chesapeake Police Department, when officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot.

Police said the victim, later identified as 37-year-old Kenneth Lee Baum Jr., died from his injuries.
