The Minneapolis Police are investigating the death of Abdiwahab A. Isse as a homicide.
MINNEAPOLIS — A death police considered suspicious is now being investigated as a homicide.
Minneapolis Police say officers responded to a possible overdose on July 8 in the Loring Park neighborhood. The man didn't respond to emergency treatment and was declared deceased at the scene. He has been identified as Abdiwahab A. Isse.
In an update Thursday, MPD said the Hennepin County Medical Examiner has determined the cause of death to be homicide. Officials did not give any more details about what happened to the man.
Police say they are actively investigating, and no arrests have been made.
