An Oakdale couple is facing charges for sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl after she was found in a cardboard box in their home.
Angeline Marie Olson, 46, and Andrew Donald Olson, 48, were both charged on May 29; Angeline was charged with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of soliciting a child to engage in sexual conduct, according to court records.
Andrew was charged with three counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and one count of soliciting a child to engage in sexual conduct.
A criminal complaint says an investigation began on May 26 when the assistant principal of John Glenn Middle School contacted Maplewood police to report that a 14-year-old student had left school without permission around 8:30 a.m. After speaking with the student’s parents, police listed her as missing/a runaway.
