Random Acts of Flowers will use the flowers to make bouquets for people in the hospital.

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. — The sweetest gift is a gift twice-given, as Dolly Parton said in a 2023 interview, and that's what a Knoxville, Tennessee, nonprofit group is looking to do with flowers left in her memory.

Parton died Tuesday, Aug. 25, after a brief battle with cancer.

On Thursday, Random Acts of Flowers will take all the flowers left at Dolly's statue next to the courthouse in her hometown of Sevier County, Tennessee, and use them to pass along a little joy to people in need.
