MINNEAPOLIS — The family of state senator John Hoffman has released a statement after Vance Boelter pled guilty to shooting John and wife Yvette, and will spend the rest of his life in prison.
"There is no justice for Mark and Melissa Hortman, and there is not justice when our family and our state will never truly heal," according to a statement from the family.
Boelter pleaded guilty to two counts of stalking, two counts of murder and two counts of discharging a firearm relating to a crime of violence.
