Minneapolis Milkjam Creamery recall: Certain products may have metal in it, state warns

Minnesota health officials are warning that frozen desserts from a south Minneapolis creamery may contain metal fragments.

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture says the issue was found during a routine inspection of certain Milkjam Creamery products sold only through the company’s Minneapolis ice cream shop.

The following products are subject to this advisory:

  • Black Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert (pint package; lot code 052662-26)
  • Toasted Coconut Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert (pint package; lot code 052763-27)
  • Zahra Ice Cream (consumed in-store between May 26 to May 28, 2026)
  • Ridin’ Duuuurty Ice Cream (consumed in-store between May 26 to May 28, 2026)

If you bought any of these affected products the Minnesota Department of Agriculture says you should throw it out or return it.

Officials say that nobody has reported getting sick.
