A man is being treated for a gunshot injury after an altercation reportedly turned violent, according to St. Paul police.
Investigators say the incident happened just before 3 a.m. in the 1900 block of Wilson Avenue East, where a man had been shot in the wrist. He was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the man, he had reportedly gotten into an argument with a group of people, some of whom he knew when one of the group members shot him.
Police said by the time they arrived the group had already left the area, and said it’s non-fatal shooting unit is investigating the incident.
