ROCK DELL, Minn. — A man is dead after a trench collapsed in Rock Dell Township on Sunday night.
The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office posted on Facebook Monday morning, stating that deputies responded to a medical call around 5:15 p.m. at the 6000 block of County Road 108 Southwest.
A man in his 20s was reportedly in the trench when it collapsed. Stewartville Fire, Stewartville First Responders, Mayo Clinic Ambulance, Mayo One, and Rochester Fire Department assisted deputies in getting the man out of the trench, but he died at the scene.
