Omar Andrew Ramos Castro claims he was defending himself from unwanted sexual advances, according to the criminal complaint.
ST PAUL, Minn. — A 24-year-old St. Paul man is accused of stabbing another man multiple times and leaving him to die along a railroad track in St. Paul.
Omar Andrew Ramos Castro is charged with second-degree murder after the body of Gabriel Arrazola Perez was found by a man walking his dog near the 1400 block of Case Avenue around 11 a.m. on May 25.
According to the criminal complaint, Perez had lacerations to his left arm, chest and torso and was declared dead at the scene. Investigators found what appeared to be a blood trail along the railroad track and one of Perez's sandals about six feet away from the body. They also discovered his vehicle less than a half-mile away, according to the criminal complaint.
