Community members in Little Falls are calling for an investigation into the management of Oakland Cemetery, after complaints about the organization’s governance and finances.
The concerns come after 5 INVESTIGATES uncovered questionable management practices of the cemetery’s nonprofit association. Those practices include board members listed on a 2024 tax filing who are now deceased, an attempt to secure taxpayer funding and a significant increase in pay for the only paid employee of the cemetery.
