DULUTH, Minn. — In a matter of days, some Minnesota disability service providers say they have to start laying off employees. 

It comes a week after the Department of Human Services, in an effort to combat fraud, terminated their status and ability to bill for services despite the providers saying they've done nothing wrong. 

"In 27 years of business, we've never seen anything like what just happened," said Scott Isaacson, head of Lifts Transportation. 

He says the DHS disenrolled his company because it forgot to include the name of its payroll clerk, despite an otherwise clean record.
