Isolated storms for some tonight – Chris

Happy Thursday evening to one and all.

It’s been another warm and increasingly humid day across Minnesota, and while many locations have remained dry so far, we’ll continue watching for a few isolated thunderstorms as we head through the overnight hours.

Not everyone will see rain tonight, but any storm that develops could produce brief heavy downpours, gusty winds, and small hail before weakening later tonight. Otherwise, skies remain partly cloudy and temperatures stay very mild with lows only falling into the middle 60s.

Friday brings another warm and humid day with highs climbing into the lower 80s. Similar to tonight, a few isolated thunderstorms are possible. Most of the day will be dry, but any storm that develops could once again bring locally heavy rain, gusty winds, and hail.

The weekend continues to look very summer-like.
