Former KSTP reporter Ginna Roe and her husband Sam have channeled heartbreak into purpose after the sudden loss of their young son Hudson in January 2024. They joined Minnesota Live to share Hudson’s story and shine a light on SUDC, sudden unexplained death in childhood, a little-known condition that can affect kids from 1 to 18 years old. The couple also introduced the Hudson Henriksen Foundation, their newly created nonprofit dedicated to supporting families walking the same devastating path.
