LOS ANGELES — Anthony Guidera, a character actor who appeared in some of Hollywood's biggest films of the 1990s, has died. He was 65.
Guidera collapsed at his Southern California home on May 11 when his heart suddenly stopped, his wife confirmed to TMZ. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he remained on life support for three weeks. Doctors ultimately removed him from life support in accordance with his prior directive, so he could be brought home for a natural death. He died Saturday at a Los Angeles-area hospital.
