Frozen berry recall expands to include bags sold at Walmart

WASHINGTON — A recall of frozen blueberries due to E. coli has expanded to include bags sold at Walmart.

The recall covers one lot of 10-ounce bags of Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend, which contains strawberries, blackberries and blueberries. The initial recall also included frozen berries sold at Publix grocery stores. 

The recall expansion applies specifically to lot code 6040 01-6, printed on the front of the package, with a best-if-used-by date of Feb. 9, 2028. The bags are marked with UPC 7874211226.
