Simon Cowell's representative announced in August that the 66-year-old judge would be missing several weeks of "America's Got Talent" due to a medical procedure.

As judge Simon Cowell recovers from a routine back surgery, "America's Got Talent" is filling his spot in Season 21.

Host Terry Crews announced model, television host and actress Heidi Klum will be a guest judge during the fourth and final quarterfinals episode, airing live Tuesday, Sept. 8 alongside judges Mel B, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara.
