More than a 1,000 providers have been disenrolled in a process the Department of Human Services says is to combat fraud.
ST PAUL, Minn — Even more Medicaid providers in Minnesota are coming forward to say their provider status has either been terminated or is in limbo as the Department of Human Services (DHS) is reexamining the programs to crack down on fraud.
A group of disability organizations is now calling the state's revalidation process "rushed" and "poorly managed".
The coalition includes the Association of Residential Resources in Minnesota, Minnesota Home Care Association, The Mental Health Providers Association of Minnesota, Autism Treatment Association of Minnesota and Residential Providers Association of Minnesota.
