Success Homes North Inc. disputes the letter it received, saying it puts 24 mentally and physically disabled adults in group homes at risk.

CAMBRIDGE, Minn. — More than 1,000 disability service providers in Minnesota say their funding is in jeopardy because of the state's crackdown on fraud.

Success Homes North, Inc. says it received a termination letter dated Sunday from the Department of Human Services (DHS). It says it now only has enough funding available to pay its 50 employees one more time, which totals $75,000.

"You also have vehicle payments, you have health insurance, you have mortgages," said Joan Wallace, Success Homes North, Inc. owner. "You have a lot of bills to go along with things people don’t really realize."
