Despite missing GOP endorsement, Demuth says she’s best Republican to beat Klobuchar in November

Lisa Demuth says she will stay in the Republican primary for governor after not receiving the party endorsement.

Chief political reporter Tom Hauser questioned Demuth about that decision after confusion at the Republican convention over the accuracy of electronic voting devices. On the 10th ballot, Kendall Qualls won the endorsement, but questions raised at the convention led Demuth to enter the primary.
