CENTERVILLE, Iowa — Garage sale signs are a familiar sight this time of year across the Twin Cities, drawing shoppers in with the promise of hidden treasures and good deals.
Outside one Centerville home this weekend, though, the sale is about something far more meaningful.
Photos of 6-year-old Evelyn Otto greet visitors as they browse tables of donated household items, clothes, and toys, each a small reminder of the little girl at the heart of the fundraiser.
