The tradition has been around for close to a decade.
CENTERVILLE, Minn. — As the school year winds down, graduating seniors are gearing up for their next steps in life. For seniors in Centerville, though, there's one last stop before they walk the graduation stage.
"It's a tradition we'll continue," Centennial High School Principal Tom Breuning said. "Our kids love it, our parents love it."
Seniors spent Wednesday morning split up amongst five elementaries in the district, including Centerville Elementary. Breuning's daughter is graduating and attended Centerville Elementary.
"It's hard," he said. "And it's also going full circle."
