Black bear sightings have been popping up across Minnesota lately, from Austin to the edge of Claremont near Triton High School, sparking curiosity and a few raised eyebrows. After Minnesota Live covered one of those sightings, a viewer reached out to remind us that sensational bear stories can actually be harmful to the bears themselves.
