MINNEAPOLIS — As the Prince celebrations continue this weekend in Minneapolis, marking 10 years since the icon passed away at age 57, a photographer and an artist honored the legend with an intimate exhibit Thursday night.
Artist Michelle Kasimor Streitz was hired to make the glitter canes and mirror hearts for Prince during his Lovesexy and Sign O' the Times eras. After Prince passed in 2016, she opened up a Prince exhibit at the Solar Arts Building in Northeast Minneapolis, that includes some of her pieces that Prince wore personally.
