St. John Paul II Catholic School will merge with Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Columbia Heights next school year.
MINNEAPOLIS — The end of the school year is always bittersweet, but especially at one school in northeast Minneapolis.
"The teacher is grateful and kind, and she cares about us very much," one student said.
But this last day is different than most at St. John Paul II Catholic school.
"I wanted to graduate here," Michael, a seventh grader, said.
"It's been really fun here, and so I don't want to leave," Jeandry, another student, said.
